Job Description/Preferred Qualifications

Join our world class System Engineering team! In this exciting role you will handle complex relationships within KLA and the Engineering teams we work with, you will also be responsible for:

1) Systems engineering on a next-generation Multi-Beam E-Beam reticle inspector, and work closely with various subsystems including source, electron optics, opto-mechanics, vacuum, electronics, software, and algorithms.

2) You will allocate requirements to the subsystems, calculate error budgets, define and resolve interfaces and working parameters for the efficient hardware/software/algorithm performance of the tool.

3) The candidate will also conduct prototype experiments and data analyses to validate architectural choices. Innovation, willing to put in extra efforts, teamwork, and attention to details are key attributes of the job.

4) Clear oral and written communication skills are important as the applicant is expected to be a conduit between systems engineering management and the program management. Candidate will be closely coordinating with program management and project mgt, so experience in project planning and project management also highly desired.

5) Additional desired background in data analytics with knowledge to process large amounts of data and distill key trades toward decisions.

Preferred skills for the role:

A) 4 plus yrs of experience with system engineering development of complex Semiconductor system and applying systems engineering principles to predict tool performance to find areas for system improvement.

B) 2 or more years of experience in handling sophisticated systems and driving engineering teams.

C) Experience with electron-beam systems and reticle inspection and processing systems.

D) Create and complete tests and experiments to understand and improve overall system performance.

E) Strong coordination emphasis with ability to drive/handle daily engineering activity in alignment with internal systems initiatives.

F) Additional emphasis on soft skills, project management capability, and ability to be customer facing.

G) Lead role reporting into program to align with Hardware/Systems/SW/Algo teams in developing & driving engineering engagement.

H) Key near term initiatives in supporting key decisions toward technical initiatives and technical investment toward near term and long term roadmaps.

Minimum Qualifications

Doctorate (Academic) with 3 years of work experience.

Master's Level Degree & related work experience of 6 years.

Bachelor's Level Degree and related work exp of 8 years.
