Sr. Talent Management and Development Specialist

Location: Cincinnati, Ohio
Hybrid Schedule: 3 days in office / 2 days at home weekly
Travel Requirements: 10% of time annually
Job Summary
Do you thrive in a results-driven environment? The Patient Point People team is in an exciting season of building and growing its Talent Management and Development function. We are actively looking to add an experienced Sr. Manager who will support, and lead projects focused on aligning talent management and development solutions with company strategic initiatives.
What You’ll Do
Learning and Development
- Design, develop, and deliver quality Talent Management and Development solutions that support internal functions from new hire through tenured, Senior-level roles.
- Conduct and improve upon the new hire orientation program.
- Assist in the development and implementation of a common 30/60/90-day new hire framework.
- Provide guidance to managers for their role-based technical training.
- Create and/or source content for both live and virtual delivery.
- Partner with HR Business Partners and Leaders to understand how TM&D can best support the performance and development of their teams.
- Partner with VP and HR Business Partners in designing and implementing a career development framework.
- Evaluate and measure program effectiveness, and report on impact of the L&D Programs
- Facilitate training in soft skills, technical skills and role-based training as needed.
- Resource and manage external vendors to address group training needs.
- Manage L&D contracting, procurement, and budget reconciliation tasks.
Talent and Performance Management
- Research and support the development and implementation of a performance management program, timeline, and communication plan.
- Partner with HR Business Partners to design workflow and implement Performance Management Technology System.
- Partner with leadership to implement and train on goal setting process and documentation.
- Partner with HR counterparts to ensure appropriate performance management systems are in place
- Partner with HR Business Partners and leadership to define competencies for each job family.
- Support Talent Review process as needed.
- Track and report on performance management metrics against defined goals.
Employee Engagement
- Consult with HR Business Partners and leadership on employee engagement strategy and planning, drive alignment around actions to support the strategy.
- Execute engagement survey administration and support action planning.
- Contribute to the survey results delivery in a way that allows employees, leaders, and the People Team to act.
Support Core HR Functions
- Partner with Legal and HR to source compliance training and ensure a tracking system is in place to monitor completion.
- Consult and/or deliver team training through DiSC profiles, Strengths Finders assessments and other programs as needed.
- Performs other duties as assigned by the VP of Learning and Development
What We Need
- Bachelor’s Degree; at least 5-7 years of related experience in relevant field (HR, Learning and Development, Curriculum Development, Instructional Design, Education)
- Demonstrates knowledge/experience with applying adult learning principles to select appropriate instructional methods and activities.
- Demonstrated experience designing, developing, and delivering training programs for a variety of audiences and delivery mediums (Live, Virtual, eLearning, podcasts, blended learning, etc.).
- Demonstrated end-to-end project/program management experience.
- Demonstrated consultative approach with excellent communication and influencing skills to communicate effectively and credibly with audiences of all levels.
- Ability to work autonomously and effectively in a fast-paced, hybrid working environment.
- Strong command of Microsoft Office skills and other collaboration tools to manage daily responsibilities.
- Ability to analyze and extract data and information, making recommendations and supporting conclusions based upon data and information.
- Maintain knowledge of current and emerging learning trends and experience innovating with new learning technology systems and tools
- Knowledge of learning management systems and software
- Experience with project management, budgeting, and coaching teams.
Desired Qualifications
- Master’s Degree or professional certification in relevant field of education, curriculum, instructional design
- A minimum of 5 year’s Facilitation expertise at the corporate level
- Experience designing and/or delivering sales-based training or coaching.
- Coaching and/or professional certifications (SHRM,PMP,DiSC) a plus
- Experience working within HRIS and LMS (Learning Management System) systems.
- Experience with design thinking (Including persona development, affinity mapping, journey mapping, and prototyping)
- Experience in developing competency frameworks.
