Job Description
Job Title: Sr. Technical Curriculum Developer
Locations: Remote
Reports to: Manager, Curriculum Development

The Sr. Technical Curriculum Developer is a key member on the curriculum development team responsible for delivering courses for our API products that are focused on the Revenue Lifecycle. In this role, you will learn the Conga’s Revenue Lifecycle, the business process it solves such as configuring carts, pricing, quoting and other document generation. You will also learn about our various customers and common industry use cases to build curriculum. You will use your skills to develop any content that is programmatic in nature. If there is functionality that requires scripting, querying or coding, you will help with the development of that curriculum along with SMEs. For example, our document generation product has a suite of APIs to automate a business’s documentation process. You may look at the APIs and create training on how to generate a document, retrieve the status of the generated document and then have the document be downloaded by a button. In this example you are free to develop examples in Python, JavaScript, Node or a lightweight language where the focus is on our APIs and schema. When working on some of our other products, you will be required to develop examples in C#.Â

As a Sr. Technical Curriculum Developer, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and delivering comprehensive curriculum focused on Conga’s APIs along with front-end development. Your code development and instructional design expertise will help us educate our developers and technical professionals to harness the full potential of our API products. You need to be comfortable researching technical topics, collaborating with SMEs, designing, and writing course material. You will develop curriculum that translates technical topics into concise and simple modules for a range of audiences. You will ensure that content is technically correct and aligns with our product roadmap. Conga is releasing a suite of new products in its Revenue Lifecycle Management portfolio, and some are API only products. We want to make sure that our customers are successful by not only providing them with documentation, but training as well. You will be an integral part of the success of Conga’s API only products. You will help deliver first rate training for our APIs to complement our documentation and ensure our customer’s success.
Are you the person we’re looking for? Â
Curriculum Development. 5 years of experience with curriculum development for technical software or 5 years of code development and examples of documentation and training you produced at a software company. Expertise in creating and updating curriculum materials, including tutorials, guides, and documentation examples to teach our API products. Including development concepts and best practices, aligning curriculum content with the latest industry standards for API training. You will also develop curriculum for more technical parts of our platform.
Collaboration. Experience working closely with subject matter experts, technical teams, and other stakeholders to gather information and ensure the accuracy of curriculum materials. Collaborating with multimedia specialists and instructional designers to enhance the learning experience.
Development Expertise. Develop hands-on exercises and projects that allow learners to apply Conga APIs to real-world scenarios. Experience or ability to develop curricula content using C#. Experience with Swagger and Working knowledge in JSON data exchange, Web Service, and REST APIs. You’ll be asked to provide examples of training you developed on topics that includes APIs, REST, Postman, Swagger XML, Mulesoft, etc. The position will require the ability to pass a small project that demonstrates your development skills.
Instructional Design. Expertise in applying instructional design principles to create engaging and effective learning experiences. Experience using a variety of instructional methods and delivery formats to accommodate diverse learning styles.
Assessment and Feedback. Experience in developing assessments and quizzes to evaluate learners' comprehension. Gathering feedback from learners and instructors to continuously improve curriculum content.
Education. A technical degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering, or a 6 years of relevant work experience in a technical industry.
Related tools and software. Strong communication and presentation skills using Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Articulate, Snag-It and Camtasia.Â

Compensation
In the spirit of the Conga Way, we strive to design easy-to-understand compensation programs that are fair and free from any type of discrimination. In keeping with this approach, we are committed to delivering competitive compensation and benefits packages to our colleagues worldwide and communicating transparently about the structure of our compensation programs.
The U.S. base salary range for this full-time position is $75,519 - $120,831. Within the range, individual pay is determined by job-related skills, experience, and relevant education, or training. In addition to base salary, Conganeers receive a variable incentive pay component, perks such as flexible work options, and a full range of benefits including medical and dental insurance.Â
The posted salary ranges are for the expectations outlined in the job description. We are often open to a wide variety of profiles and sometimes have flexibility within our organizational structure to adjust the role responsibilities up or down should we select a candidate that is less or more experienced than the posted job requirements. In these occasional cases, we will communicate the revised salary range to the candidate during the selection process.
