Primary FocusProactively presents information on new and emerging products, technologies, and services to help reseller partners to capitalize on new market opportunities and increase end user reach and loyalty. Effectively articulate benefits of technologies, products and services over speeds and feeds. Begin to drive a more agnostic and consultative partner relationship in results-getting. Takes a broader and more comprehensive approach to partner development.Key Responsibilities

• Proactively introduce / demonstrate / train on: Modern business needs; desired business outcomes; market trends and market opportunities; emerging technologies, vendors & products; & high-margin professional services (altogether known as "solutions"). 
• Enable partners to become more proactive, profitable & services-driven "trusted advisors" to their end-user clientele. 
• Provide relevant thought leadership and strategic advice / guidance to decision-makers and key stakeholders to influence them to invest in accelerating their growth through Ingram Micro. What experience, knowledge & skills does a Technical Enablement Engineer need?

Knowledge and Skills

• Effective Sr Technical Enablement Engineers in this role typically need to hold advanced badges and certifications in "advanced solutions" technology categories. As well as exhibit high levels of executive presence, business acumen, sales acumen, and technical acumen.

Requirements

• Cisco Security and Cisco Collaboration Knowledge. Primary focus should be Security
• Sales Engineering, enabling partners on how to deliver Cisco solutions to end customers. (i.e. Training sales team, Engineering teams at partners)
• Extensive experience and knowledge of the Partner Channel and Cisco.
• Training and strong presentation skills.
• Specialist in technical or business skills. Individuals with a customer focus have developed the acumen to cultivate and develop lasting customer relations.
• Four-year college degree (or additional relevant experience in a related field). Minimum 5 years Enablement Engineering experience including a minimum of 3 years Cisco Security specific experience.
• Ability to make significant contribution to processes and systems.

The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $92,800.00 - $157,800.00 per year.

The ranges above reflect the potential annual base pay across the U.S. for all roles; the applicable base pay range will depend on the candidate’s primary work location, pay grade, and variable compensation plan. Individual base pay within each range depends on various factors, in addition to primary work location, such as complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. Base pay ranges are reviewed and typically updated each year. Offers are made within the base pay range applicable at the time of hire. New hires starting base pay generally falls in the bottom half (between the minimum and midpoint) of a pay range.
