Position Summary:

We are looking for a Technical Product Manager focused on supporting our Cloud, Infrastructure and Reliability Engineering teams in a maturing Platform DevOps organization. You will work closely with our Cloud, backend, Reliability and Salesforce teams to level-up our cloud-native platform solutions and services. 

You will work on a platform that is central to the reputation and trustworthiness of League in the Healthcare industry in North America. You are passionate about automation but know when human intervention is a better business choice. You think of Infrastructure as a service and a product that is beneficial to the business and the consumers. You are data-driven, and understand that data is the key to implementing the right solutions. You have experience building fully automated, highly elastic, cloud-orchestrated platforms with Google Cloud, AWS and/or Azure.

In this role you will:

  • Be involved in helping the on-going management of our cloud infrastructure, backend and reliability deliverables by managing action items, projects, preparing documentation, and successfully communicating project and program status
  • Handling all aspects of project management including timelines, prioritization
  • Helping Drive capacity planning, demand forecasting, software performance analysis, and systems tuning
  • Maintaining a product & feature roadmap and manage prioritization and tradeoffs among customer experience, platform performance and operational support load. Ensure clear communications of requirements to the business, capability, solutions, security & development teams
  • Owning the product backlog & prioritize according to future operational and reliability needs
  • Work with the various League engineering groups at defining vision and strategic direction
  • Helping develop, monitor and deliver multi-level KPIs that drive reliability of League Platform Systems and Services at every level
  • Communicating the team’s strategic and tactical direction to all stakeholders
  • Collaborating with other PMs (technical and non-technical) to source and promote changes to delivery cycles in order to boost reliability
  • Balance governance, ownership and freedom against reliability, risk, cost and security

About you:

  • Ideally 6+ years of platform-oriented, cloud and infrastructure product management experience shipping products and technologies in a dynamic and fast-paced, cross-functional environment
  • Strong product development skills with a sound understanding of platform backend, cloud and platform-as-a-service technologies and ecosystem requirements
  • Comfortable with modern technology and development practices 
  • Proven ability to deliver platform products from inception to delivery
  • Ability to quickly learn and gain proficiency in areas with limited experience
  • Ability to think creatively to solve problems
  • You have experience in working in scrum teams in an agile environment, leading agile release planning in terms of iterative, incremental & value-driven delivery and tightening every feedback loop regarding the product (e.g. release often, release early, talk to customers, Minimal Marketable Product, etc.)
  • Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal and analytical skills
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills and business acumen preferred

  • Solid background in infrastructure product management including backend and server-side tech, cloud operations and environment validation
  • Understands and deals well with rapid development cycles

  • Effective presentation, oral, and written business interpersonal skills with various audiences and levels
  • Can communicate deeply technical topics to non-technical audiences
  • Have a firm understanding of DevOps, Infrastructure as a service, and platform principles
  • Understand the role and responsibilities of infrastructure and reliability engineering in the Enterprise
  • A background in understanding software services management principles and practices
  • Experience as a product manager, team lead or architect
  • An influential decision-maker and strategist
  • A problem solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment
  • Understand the operational complexity of a Microservices architecture
  • Ability to consistently correlate and showcase the dollar value associated with systems reliability
  • Driven by collaboration and open communication
  • Knowledge of Agile software development methodologies
  • Strong problem solver, communicator and writer

This range reflects the minimum and maximum target for base salaries for the position across all US locations. Where in the band you may land is determined by job-related skills/experience and location. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your location during the hiring process.

$147,000—$186,000 USD
