Job Description:

Functional Analyst Sr Advisor

GDIT is seeking a Sr. Technical Project Analyst or Advisor to join our team in Huntsville, AL. The qualified applicant will cover project lead, systems engineering and technical analysis on multiple platform aircraft systems and projects from aircraft modifications, overhauls and commercial products installations.

How the Sr. Technical Project Analyst will make an impact:

• Participate as a member of Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) ensuring application of systems and airworthiness principles through aircraft lifecycle phases.
• Provide technical input as needed on weapons, sensors, airframe, avionics, propulsion, drive systems software, maintenance practices and performance of the aircraft.
• Provide input as a member of the Foreign Military Sales Team
• Provides technical advice on issues and tasks.
• Ensuring all areas (Tech, Log, Test, Systems Engineering, AED) are included in the planning, budgeting
• Manage FMS projects as assigned by MASPO
• Assist testing (scheduling, funding, and documentation)
• Review and provide input on documentation such as AWRs, test plans, and test reports
• Monitor testing to include coordination of test events
• Help write Statements of Work, CDRLs, Budget estimate (Independent Government Estimates)
• Establishing and updating Project Management Review briefing charts

What you'll need to be successful:

• Active Secret Clearance
• CONUS and OCONUS Travel - 10%
• HS or Equivalent w/14 yrs of applicable experience or BS/BA with 10 yrs of Applicable Exp

Work Background must include and reflect experience with:

• Technical support to Aviation PMO on Foreign Military Sales (FMS) contracts working with the Government PMO supporting technical meetings (TIM's, SRR's, PDR, CDR)

• Technical review and analysis of SOW, ROMs, acquisition plans, schedules, PWS, RFPs.
• Development, analysis, review, and providing expertise input of technical documents, specifications, and parts list / configurations.
• Interaction with SRD and prime contractors on ensuring technical contractual requirements are clearly defined.
