Samsung Networks is a global leader for 5G and mobile infrastructure solutions to leading carriers worldwide. The New Business group within Samsung Networks is responsible for driving growth for the Networks business within Cables companies, Regional Operators and Enterprise markets. This highly strategic team is a growth driver and focused on delivering our industry leading LTE and 5G technology into these customer segments.

Role and Responsibilities

Samsung Electronics America is looking for a dynamic and accomplished technically oriented presales professional to help drive growth for our MCPTX business. With increased focus on Public Safety, Samsung is looking to expand MCPTX ecosystem across Android and IOS platforms with focus on ruggedized products required by First responders. Built on latest cloud scale technologies Samsung delivers a massively scalable & secure LTE /5G solution aimed at unleashing the next generation of Public Safety and Enterprise mobility with Interoperable solutions across Push to Talk, Video, Data services and existing LMR technologies.

This position offers a unique opportunity to use your existing business development skills with a deep technical understanding of LTE, 5G and MCPTX technologies. In this Presales role you will be responsible for analyzing Industry solutions, provide strategic guidance to business, engineering, and R&D teams, provide consultancy Samsung's Public Safety customers in the US, provide product management support to Global program. You will work closely with Samsung's mobile B2B sales teams to position and sell MCPTX offering.

Specific responsibilities include:
  • Lead Technical sales for US customers / demo/ sell Samsung MCPTX solution. (this is a technical role and requires hand on experience is setting up demos and solution showcases)
  • Responsible for partnering with customers to develop opportunities, execute trials and drive commercial adoption of MCPTX.
  • Develop product life cycle plans for Android, IOS device clients.
  • Work with global R&D centers in product realization activities to ensure customer requirements are met.
  • Guide US based Engineering teams through Android and IOS certification process.
  • Deliver compelling technical presentations that show the value of Samsung MCPTX outlining technical differentiation and highlighting the key benefits to senior level customer audiences.
  • Highly focused on building up major projects pipeline and help hit sales targets.
  • Establish /maintain a high level of trust and confidence as a MCPTX subject matter expert with the broader Samsung B2B Sales Organizations.

Skills and Qualifications

Background & Competencies Required:

  • Bachelor's Degree in engineering with 10-12 years of Sales, preferably Systems Engineering (SE) experience with P25, PTT solutions
  • Hands-on technical experience in Android and IOS technologies
  • Familiarity with device client UI/UX required to meet needs of LMR users.
  • Deep domain knowledge of LMR radio technologies.
  • Ability to setup and conduct demos/ PoCs.
  • Strategic thinker and great storyteller with executive presence and the ability to communicate a compelling value proposition to customers & partners.
