As a Sr. Technical Solution Engineer at Cypress.io, you will be responsible for enabling, advocating, and solving complex problems facing our ever growing and evolving user base.
Responsibilities:
- Be an expert in all of Cypress’ products and services.
- Empathize, advocate for, and maintain positive relationships within the Cypress community.
- Drive collaboration with Engineering, Go To Market Teams, Product, and others to develop strong internal relationships to drive innovation for all users.
- Keep up with test automation industry trends.
- Strong vision for internal and external process organization and optimization.
- Guide user relationships via many technical platforms (Ex: Discord, Webinars, etc.)
- Spearheading development of user content (Ex: Documentation, Videos, Presentations, etc.)
- Document all interactions in a CRM system.
- Deliver webinars, conference sessions, other public presentations on behalf of the Cypress team and products.
- Own internal technical environments to build a continuous learning process for Go To Market teams.
- Work directly with the Director of Customer Success on goals and initiatives
Required Skills and Requirements:
- Passionate about developer tools.
- Strong technical background with an understanding of how web applications are built and work.
- JavaScript software development & testing experience.
- Public Speaking
- An exceptional drive for problem solving
- An empathetic approach to all interactions.
- A curious mind and interest in learning new technologies.
- Ability to convey technical information at an audience-appropriate level.
- Ability to work with partial information, and good judgment on when to ask questions and when to run independently.
- Strong communication skills - both written and oral
Preferred Skills and Requirements:
- Experience at a SaaS Company.
- Developed and delivered technical educational content
- Strong developer community ties
- Solid experience with CI/CD technology (Ex: GitHub Actions, Circle CI, other testing tools, etc.)
- Other Programming experience (Any modern languages, TypeScript would be ideal)
- Solid understanding of frontend frameworks and technologies
