Responsible for building and leading a team to deliver technology products and services that meet business outcomes. Ensures people development through coaching, mentoring, feedback, and hands-on career development. Develops a technology strategy and ensures technology solutions comply with applicable standards. This role advocates and advances modern, Agile solution delivery practices and evangelizes great design, engineering and organizational practices. Accountable for team/program level resource and financial management; builds and maintains teams through talent acquisition. Sets maturity objectives and enables individuals/teams to with training & resources to achieve them. Sets and tracks quality and performance objectives. Facilitates performance and career development of individuals through performance reviews, coaching, and building individual development plans that are needed to develop competencies and skills. Understands individual and team maturity and performance through team/client feedback. Manages relationships with the business and technology leaders, and vendors for technical products. Accountable for solution delivery management as relevant to their teams e.g. prioritizing tech debt, compliance and security items, and supporting audits. Accountable to ensure all relevant risk, financial, and compliance polices and standards are met. Accountable for the application performance in production (app health, resiliency, performance, security, enterprise data management standards, audit exams and reviews). Creates the technology strategy for their technical domain. Ensures that execution is aligned with product strategy by working with Product Management, Product Owners, and other stakeholders. Creates an inclusive and healthy working environment, and helps to resolve organizational impediments/blockers. Leads and creates followership in Communities of Practice in the organization. Manages a team.

Responsibilities:

 

 

  • An experienced senior manager responsible for leading the execution of the Global Banking and Markets API strategy by building and leading several teams to deliver products and services that meet business outcomes.
  • Works closely with business partners to develop the vision and a roadmap for the API Channel
  • Advocates API standards across Global Banking Technology in collaboration with Architecture and other technology teams
  • Creates the technology strategy, ensuring technology solutions comply with enterprise standards
  • Leads the team to develop industry best standards, and best practices
  • Advocates and advances modern Agile solution delivery practices including great design, engineering and organizational practices.

Required Skills:

 

 

  • 7 + years' experience in solution delivery process - Understands the roles and responsibilities of other teams who participate in the delivery process
  • Past experience in data management practices and technologies
  • Proven design experience with delivery of branded, accessible design solutions
  • Understand and can comply with design, brand and accessibility standards
  • Analytical Thinker - demonstrate the ability to identify root causes to solve complex problems in highly unstable solutions
  • Promotes Collaboration with own team and across team
  • Influences Decisions with factual and emotional points
  • Ability to achieve sustainable results by setting KPI's for team to follow
  • Knowledge of financials and resource management
  • Ability to identify risks and dependencies and the impact on the business and technology - what controls can be used
  • Working knowledge of products and services, business flows and understanding
  • Sets Agenda and defines the artifacts needed for governance forums
  • Ability to design and develop significant components within code application
  • Ability to do code reviews
  • SME on bank standards and best practices with continuous integration and continuous deployment
  • Understanding of architecture and bank standards

Pay and benefits information
Jersey City pay range:
$127,400 - $190,000 annualized salary, offers to be determined based on experience, education and skill set.
Discretionary incentive eligible
This role is eligible to participate in the annual discretionary plan. Employees are eligible for an annual discretionary award based on their overall individual performance results and behaviors, the performance and contributions of their line of business and/or group; and the overall success of the Company.
