Sr. Test Engineer (Mexico, full-remote)

As a Senior Test engineer, you wil lead and execute testing activities within software development projects.

You will have a deep understanding of testing methodologies and tools to ensure that software applications meet quality standards. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams, such as software engineers, cloud engineers, test engineers, and product managers to design and implement effective testing strategies and plans for new features, enhancements, and bug fixes.

What you Will Do (Main duties and responsibilities)

• Develop standards and procedures to determine product quality and release readiness.
• Develop, implement, and maintain test plans based on acceptance criteria.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand functional requirements and translate them into comprehensive test cases.
• Perform regression, integration, performance, and load testing to ensure system reliability, scalability, and security.
• Build tools to accelerate and ease software delivery.
• Identify, isolate, and track defects and issues throughout testing.
• Research new tools, technologies, and testing processes.

What You Need (Key Skills & Experience)

• 3+ years of experience as a Test Engineer.
• Programming or scripting languages expertise (Java, JavaScript, C# or Python).
• Experience with software QA and testing methodologies, test management tools and processes.
• Familiarity with performance testing and version control systems.
• Familiarity with RDBMS – PostgreSQL, MySQL etc.
• Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent Written and verbal Communication in English (C1 level).
• Organized, good time management skills, attention to detail, and team player.

What Would Be Nice (Desired skills)

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred).
• Familiarity with containerization, microservices, and serverless architecture.
• U.S. B1/B2 visa.
• Experience with Golang and with CI/CD (Jenkins preferred)
