Global Transactions strives to be the best-in-class, most agile TM execution platform in the marketplace. We drive business growth and profitability, provide opportunities for a diverse team, and maximize strategic value for clients. The Sr. Transaction Analyst will support business development, new account pursuits, client strategy, and the evaluation and structuring of solutions for our client teams and solutions development personnel. S/He will be responsible for and oversee commission projections, pipeline reporting, and financial template development. S/He will work primarily in a leadership role on complex projects but will also function independently or as part of a team. In addition, s/he will work on and will be asked to direct special projects, where needed.
The Sr. Transaction Analyst will manage and work with professionals across a wide variety of disciplines and business units, including facilities, property management, business development, supporting activities for JLL Markets and JLL Work Dynamics. Demonstrated experience in managing complex projects to successful outcomes is paramount as is the ability to think strategically, act proactively and with a sense of urgency. S/He will foster growth of junior talent, manage business routines appropriately and develop strong client trust and confidence. The candidate will report to global operations lead but have matrix relationships with Work Dynamics Regional IPS leaders, Sales Enablement and Solutions Development, and IPS Markets leads.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Support Client Relationships
- Work with account teams to develop client business and real estate strategies and foster client relationships
- Provide advice on key client transactions
- Identify, develop and implement improvements to client transaction management processes
Transaction Management
- Manage and support complex, large, and mid-size TM pursuits with high level of expertise
- Strong background in Transaction Management Product/Operations (on account), ideally with depth in IPS or Transaction Management/Portfolio Strategy
- Build transaction commission and volume projections and understand the impact of differing transaction types, speculative revenue and rebates on financial structures
- Own proformas for RFP negotiations and evaluate scope and pricing changes to P&L
- Create solutions to deliver measurable value and structure winning approaches for new business
- Work with IT to customize reports, dashboards and analytics specific to account team usage
- Develop occupancy cost savings strategies, develop and evaluate alternative occupancy solutions, and refine existing transaction processes and procedures
- Support IPS Core Applications, Leadership Council, and Markets IPS leads as needed
Agile, Variable Model Growth
- Assist TM Global Operations Lead in development and implementation of programs to support TM model of the future
- Develop solutions for shared resource allocation, training, standardization of tools and technology, and TM SharePoint site content
- Help TM account leads develop revenue growth and efficiency improvements
- Assist TM account leads to proactively report on pipeline of identified and unforeseen transaction opportunities
Talent Management
- Coach and developing team members including attracting and retaining top talent
- Assist junior transaction team members with complicated transactions/ financial analysis / modeling
- Develop training curriculum content and assist in training TM talent
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- 3-5 years of relevant work experience, MBA or other advanced degree preferred
- Strong business and financial acumen
- Strong communication, intellectual curiosity, and interpersonal skills
- Strong leadership, organization skills, and executive presence
- Ability to work effectively and independently in remote settings
- Proven ability to juggle multiple deliverables and manage high-touch clients
- Ability to lead/coach diverse teams and identify and develop top talent
- Real estate brokerage or salesperson license preferred
- LEED certification, CCIM, SIOR, MCR and related certifications welcomed
