You are a self-motivated, critical thinker, with excellent verbal and written communication skills. You are a proven and skilled leader in the areas of product UX research, documentation, planning, and strategy. You confidently and diligently manage the ongoing analysis of the user experience across all products.Â
In this role, you will:
- Gain a deep understanding of NinjaTrader’s industry and business goals
- Collaborate with colleagues and key stakeholders in a team environment, forming a cohesive and inclusive bridge between users, design, and product teams
- Partner with the Product team and UX Designers to plan and build products and tools, after working with CX, and Marketing Analytics stakeholders to research current user behavior
- Utilize UX best practices to research, understand, and define user needs
- Employ a wide array of UX measurement and feedback tactics as a part of the iterative product lifecycle (e.g. surveys, interviews, A/B and user testing, competitive and best-in-class research, behavior tracking tools, etc.)Â
- Analyze research and provide reports, clearly conveying meaningful and actionable insights to key stakeholders and leadership
- Stay up to date on UX trends
You will also:
- Create, conduct, review, and summarize user flows, business process maps, and other user experience planning activities to ensure that objectives, goals, and requirements are clear
- Help shape product roadmaps through a combination of , UX best practices, and business data—Identify, communicate, and prioritize high-impact research questions and opportunities, while continuing to drive strategic design and feature decisions
- Use storytelling to communicate high-level concepts and research insights in presentations, reports, and workshops
- Evaluate and measure the outcomes for each design/build segment to provide recommendations on how to improve product design in an iterative and ongoing process
- Plan and conduct UX workshops for key stakeholders and customers—lay the groundwork for and help define and guide the journey of new products and projects
- Work collaboratively and respectfully within a cross-functional team and across all areas of the company, taking into account all aspects of the business process and user journey, and working with respect to various team needs
- Other user-centric tasks to assist various NinjaTrader teams as needed. (e.g. QA testing)
- Help define and develop the next-generation customer experience at NinjaTrader

Key Job Requirements:
- 5+ years of UX research, testing and strategy experience in software and app products
- BA or MS degree in a related field or relevant years of experience
- Must possess a strong functional knowledge and hands-on experience with user experience research and design best practices—user test creation, administration, and analysis; user flows user stories; user journeys; etc.
- Must be self-motivated and able to easily execute without ample direction—with a proven record of successfully leading project UX from concept to completion
- Must effectively manage workloads to meet deliverables within agreed timeframes
- Must be detail-oriented, with the ability to think critically and efficiently multitask
- Must be comfortable with and professional when working directly with customers
- Must be confident in presenting work to senior-level executives, team members, and internal stakeholders—answering questions and articulating information to the rest of the team
- Must be able to quickly learn and adapt
- Familiarity with UX data gathering tools: e.g. UserTesting, Heap, Optimizely
Bonus Points For:
- Marketing UX Experience
- Experience with Agile methodologies
- Business analysis and/or UX design experience
- Proficiency in wireframing/prototyping tools: e.g. Figma, Sketch, Axure, InVision, XD, etc.
