We are looking for a Sr. UX Researcher to join our tech client’s UX team focusing on virtual machine user experiences. You will be collaborating closely with an interdisciplinary team of researchers, designers, and engineers to drive customer feedback and research findings into future iterations of the product.

Would you like to…

• Autonomously drive end to end research projects that include planning, data collection, analysis, and delivering results to stakeholders
• Deliver actionable research findings to your counterparts on time and with quality
• Communicate, defend, and build consensus around your research and how it informs design
• Document and present recommendations and point of view based on research and analysis
• Work with the supervising Usability Engineer or Manager in identifying and addressing critical usability issues

We would like you to have…

• 4+ years of experience conducting experimental research on software products and driving tangible outcomes with product teams
• 4+ years of experience planning, moderating and analyzing qualitative studies of multiple methods
• 3+ years of demonstrated ability to lead/management projects (not just implement something that was already created)
• 1+ year of experience working on cloud products for Microsoft or other enterprise tech company
• Experience leading usability studies, interviews, and surveys.
• Track record of collaborating across multiple disciplines (design, engineering) to drive change into products
• Proven ability to work within tight timelines and with excellent project management skills
• Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate rich customer data and articulate the implications of research findings in clear and compelling ways
• Strong oral and written communication skills; experience presenting to executive-level audiences
• A minimum of a BA or MA/MS in Experimental Psychology, Cognitive Psychology, Human Factors, Human-Computer Interaction or a related field
• Portfolio showcasing work experience is required.
