Job Description

The Sr. SVP of Growth & Revenue Operations at Scaled Agile will lead Marketing and Revenue Operations through strategic planning efforts and operational rigor across all segments: Enterprise (B2B), SAFe Professionals (B2C), and Partners (Channel). This role demands exceptional abilities to collaborate cross-functionally, proven expertise in leveraging data to drive decision-making, and the ability to motivate teams to crave growth at scale.

We seek a dynamic and results-driven Senior Vice President of Growth and Revenue Operations to join us as an executive and leader, reporting to the Chief Revenue Officer. This role will be pivotal in driving strategic marketing efforts, instrumenting operating rhythms that facilitate transparency and alignment across the business, and optimizing tooling to support growth at scale. Areas of focus are inclusive of:

  • Growth Strategy: As the growth marketing strategist, you will work with the marketing team to ensure the implementation of high-quality marketing strategies. You will lead the charge in adopting innovative marketing approaches, experimenting with new tactics, and staying ahead in a dynamic market. Your role involves championing a culture of creativity and agility, constantly seeking new ways to engage audiences and enhance brand visibility. In this role, you will be key in shaping the company's strategic direction, bringing insightful marketing perspectives to executive-level discussions and decision-making processes. Your expertise will guide Scaled Agile in navigating market trends and seizing growth opportunities.


  • Operational Rigor: The SVP of Growth & Revenue Operations will lead operations teams that aim to operationalize the business by instrumenting data-driven cadences and interlocks that assure transparency, collaboration, and alignment across the business. You will be instrumental in defining what “good” looks like, with the quantitative measures to support it. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the effective deployment of people, processes, and tools that removes friction from GTM rhythms and are aligned with the broader business objectives and company vision.


  • Analytics: The SVP of Growth & Revenue Operations marketing is analytically driven and focused. In every aspect of driving revenue, advertising, promotions, and marketing, teams must analyze trends to determine the most promising strategies for our organization, such as detailed and thorough analysis to optimize existing customer segments, open new market segments, understand customers' preferences, and adapt to market trends. The Senior Vice President of Growth & Revenue Operations will use analytical skills to forge an innovative, data-driven segmentation strategy that accelerates customer acquisition, reduces attrition, and maximizes marketing effectiveness.


  • Global Monetization Strategy: The SVP of Growth & Revenue Operations will partner with product and sales leadership to define monetization and pricing/packaging strategy for current and future prospects. You must be comfortable analyzing large sets of data, conducting quantitative and qualitative research, and influence and shape packaging and monetization strategy. 


  • Leadership and Development: You are responsible for cultivating high-performing marketing and operations professionals, emphasizing skill development, mentorship, and a collaborative work environment. Your leadership will inspire marketers and operators to excel in their roles and measurably contribute to the overall success of Scaled Agile.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Enterprise Segment (B2B) Marketing:
    • Implement ABM strategies to target high-value enterprise accounts and engage executive influencers within these enterprises and government organizations.
    • Develop personalized marketing campaigns and content to resonate with C-level executives and key decision-makers
    • Deliver compelling enterprise and government collateral for sales and field marketing organizations to use in the field
    • Developing better ways for our sales team to understand prospective customer activities.


  • SAFe Professionals Segment (B2C) Marketing:
    • Design and execute innovative demand generation marketing campaigns to attract and retain SAFe Professionals, focusing on their needs and raising awareness of the value of the SAFe Professional Certification program and its benefits.
    • Utilize digital marketing and social media platforms to increase brand and SAFe certification value awareness and customer engagement within the segment.
    • Continuously gather and analyze market feedback to refine marketing strategies.
    • Ensure we have a best-in-class digital machine to manage, track, and measure SAFe Professional customer life-cycle.
    • Collaborate to create SAFe Professional digital community.


  • Partner Segment (Channel) Marketing:
    • Develop programs aimed at nurturing and expanding the Partner network.
    • Raise awareness and use of SAI Partner program benefits
    • Provide partners with effective co-marketing materials and support to enable their success.
    • Increase product knowledge and adoption throughout the Partner network.


  • Field Marketing and Agency Management:
    • Plan and manage Region marketing initiatives to align with overall marketing objectives across all regions and segments
    • Oversee external agency relationships to ensure high-quality execution of marketing campaigns.
    • Support marketing activities for SAI events and Summits


  • Revenue Operations & Analytics:
    • Manage marketing budgets, resources, and tools for optimal operational efficiency.
    • Manage sales operations teams who support activities such as forecasting, reporting, territory planning, quota setting, compensation planning, and tooling. 
    • Manage Customer Engagement Desk and Monetization Strategy.
    • Manage Sales Training and enablement teams.
    • Collaborate with internal teams for a cohesive and effective approach to marketing & sales operations.
    • Provide quarterly revenue and customer impact reports for ELT and SAI Board workshops.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field.
  • 15+ years of Marketing and Operations experience; 7+ years in a management role.
  • Extensive experience in strategic marketing and demand generation, focusing on B2B, B2C, ABM, and channel marketing.
  • Highly analytical, with a unique ability to leverage operating data as a roadmap to customer and revenue growth.
  • Proven ability to cultivate and lead a best-in-class Revenue Operations team supporting aggressive growth at scale.
  • Strong skills in communication, analysis, and program management.
  • Proficiency in CRM, marketing automation, and analytics tools.

Additional Information

Compensation: 

Scaled Agile is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The target salary range for this role is $250,000- $295,000. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidate's relevant work experience, skills, and certifications.

Employees of Scaled Agile are also compensated with a competitive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, optional insurance products including identity protection and pet insurance, 401K with a match, flexible paid time off, company-paid sabbatical after six years of service, bonus plan, and equity options.
