AMDEX is seeking a Sr. Vulnerability Management Project Manager to join its team, supporting a Federal government agency.
The Sr. Vulnerability Management Project Manager should have the following qualifications:
Responsibilities include:
- Manage computer operations, supervise staff operations, ensure production schedules are met and computer system resources are used effectively.
- Ensure proper relationships are established between customers, teaming partners, and vendors to facilitate the delivery of information technology services.
- Detailed activities, essential tasks, and responsibilities shall include the following core functions:
- Assess technical requirements, provide information or assistance, and resolve technical issues.
- Coordinate the resolution of production-related problems.
- Develop project plans to implement short- and long-range goals to meet project deadlines and resolve conflicts that may arise; develop documents based on approved requirements and resolve conflicts that may arise.
- Provide technical oversight to develop, support, and implement action plans for major projects.
- Work with customer stakeholders to design, develop and implement enterprise architectures. Develop Courses of Actions (COAs) to achieve project objectives and provide executive-level briefings.
- Manage project outcomes and deliverables/metrics; work to verify they stay within scope.
Qualifications:
- Eight years of experience in IT security, and five years specialized experience in Vulnerability Management or other comparable certification or experience.
- Superior problem solving and analytical skills and experience collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data.
- Experience and familiarity with network security and host security technologies.
- Understanding of security tools such as Splunk, MITRE ATT&CK, and other SIEM and log aggregation tools.
- Linux and Windows Administration skills
- Familiarity with vulnerability management tools
This position requires a current TS/SCI clearance.
