Sr. Windows Desktop Engineer

We’re building a brand-new global team of engineers who will have a direct impact on changing the way over 1.5 million participants manage their assets.

 Who you are:

• Use your 8+ years of experience in information technology to conduct system and infrastructure performance testing to ensure system reliability, capacity and scalability.
• Develop automated test scenarios and environments for performance testing.
• Analyze test results and coordinate with engineering teams for any changes.
• Evaluation and use of benchmarking, performance and load testing tools.
• Troubleshoot system issue.
• Reproducing customer performance issues in our labs.
• Design and build intelligent test systems that can simulate production traffic load.
• Measure, report, and recommend performance Response Time Guidelines/SLAs.
• Windows Desktop general engineering and hardware evaluation.
• Creation of Desktop, Laptops, Virtual machines Performance Baselines for Windows and MAC Desktop Platform.
• Suggest new tools and techniques to improve testing efficiency.
• Good coordination and communication skills.

What you will do:

• Strong understanding of key system and infrastructure performance counters impacting overall user experience.
• Basic scripting knowledge with PowerShell.
• Strong troubleshooting mindset and experience with tools like wireshark and procmon.
• Experience and knowledge of Infrastructure components like F5 Load Balancer, A10, Routers, WAN connectivity.
• Experience in monitoring tools for Network and Workstations, including Perfmon.
• Ability to write technical and Presentation management documentation (system design and engineering documents).
• Experience in Performance Engineering in large Enterprise Windows Environments.
• Good experience with Windows support.
• Basic VMware knowledge .

It would be awesome if you had:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Prior experience with Desktop and server-side resource analysis a big plus9.
• Knowledge of Wireshark, Perfmon, Procmon, Procdump, fiddler and other network and windows tools.
• Knowledge of SysTrack, and Splunk.
• Understanding of client connectivity via Zscalr, Proxy, and load balancer.
