Position Overview

Insight is seeking a Sr. Network Engieer who has expertise in Juniper/Mist wireless solutions. Insight is seeking a Senior Network Engineer with a focus on Juniper/Mist. As a Sr. Network Engineer, you will enter a high-energy and tech savvy world. What You Will Do

  • Actively participate in the assessment, planning, designing, and implementing of Wireless solutions.
  • Design, deploy, support and troubleshoot large-scale network and wireless implementations.
  • Maintain, upgrade, and provide solutions to complex network/wireless problems.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients and internal teams.
  • Work in a dynamic and supportive team environment.
What You WIll Need

  • 5+ years implementing and troubleshooting Networking and Wireless technologies.
  • Experience with using Ekahau and/or AirMagnet for predictive wireless designs.
  • Growth in technical skills through wireless certifications (CWNA/CWDP/CWAP) or other similar achievements is desired.
  • Growth in technical skills through network certifications (CCNP/CCDP/JNCIP/CCIE) or other similar achievements is desired.
  • Expert level understanding of 802.11 networks and protocols 802.11n/ac/ax
  • Understanding of RF transmissions and antenna behavior
  • Hands on experience in Wi-Fi network optimization for high density enterprise environments, outdoor or stadiums
  • Demonstrated expertise with Wi-Fi analyzers, wireless survey software, and test equipment
  • Advanced knowledge of network hardware (Cisco, Aruba, and Mist Juniper preferred) including controllers, access points (indoor and outdoor), routers, and switches
  • Advanced troubleshooting skills to identify root causes of RF and wireless issues
  • Basic understanding of spectrum and packet capture analysis
  • Being able to understand new wireless standards, test, validate, and implement them on the network
  • Basic understanding of 802.1x security
  • Ability to draw, update, and document infrastructure topologies in detail using MS Visio, Excel, and Word
  • Adept in switching configuration, troubleshooting and installation specifically on Cisco, HPe/Aruba, Meraki or Juniper switches.
  • Ability to perform onsite wireless surveys using Ekahau sidekicks or AirMagnet software.
Available for evening and overnight work as needed.

Salary - 70-80/hr
