Flexport is seeking a Sr. HRIS Analyst who will propel us into our next phase of strategic expansion. Reporting to the Sr. HRIS Manager, we are looking for a thought partner to provide outstanding support in the implementation of new modules, releases, and rollouts. You will:- Configure and implement Workday projects in one or more of the following areas: Security, Business Processes, Reporting/Calculated Fields across multiple HR modules
- Review business requirements, author technical design documents, and produce high quality solutions aimed at optimizing business processes spanning multiple technologies across the enterprise
- Act as a subject matter expert in advising and optimizing to streamline the HRIS system (Workday) with enhancements and innovative recommendations
- Oversee and ensure unit and user-acceptance testing is complete and all potential scenarios are explored and vetted to be little to no risk in compliance in documentation
- Resolve issues, unexpected results or process flows; identify failures, and provide break-fixes related to existing and future Workday interfaces in our ticketing system (JIRA)
- Partner with cross functional teams (People Operations, People Business Partners, Recruiting, Total Rewards, Payroll, Finance) to identify, assess, and solve complex business problems in Workday with external applications across a wide array of HCM, IT, Payroll and other functional areas, where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of various factors
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Systems or equivalent
- Experience implementing/enhancing/maintaining a Workday HRIS on a global scale is a must, with hands-on experience with configuration in security, business processes, reporting, and Workday integration tools, including EIBs and reports as a service
- Minimum 3 years of configuration experience with the Workday Product Suite, with expertise in at least three of the following product areas: Core HCM (required), Benefits, Advanced Compensation, Performance Management, Time Tracking and Absence Management, Payroll and in the following foundational areas: Custom Reporting and Calculated Fields, Business Process Configuration, Security
- Familiar with JIRA Sprint Planning methodology and self sufficient in tracking tasks and projects to deploy to Production, as well as managing a JIRA HRIS ticketing queue
- Exemplary analytical and technical skills for translating and analyzing business needs into requirements, driving projects with the full employment life cycle (recruiting, onboarding, career development, off-boarding), and delivering effective, value-adding solutions
