SUMMER 2023
Beyond Finance offers a challenging and rewarding summer internship program. The 8-12 week program is offered to undergraduate students that have completed at least 2 years of college, as well as graduate students. Each intern will receive a competitive salary. Applications will be collected, reviewed and selected candidates will be contacted in late winter.
The Site Reliability Engineer(SRE) Intern will assist the SRE and DevOPS teams who specialize in AWS to develop, maintain, and support our growing infrastructure, analytics, monitoring tools and application development.
This internship will be flexible as either 100% remote or a combination of part-time remote/virtual and part-time in office.
Responsibilities
- Actively monitor production performance and assist in troubleshooting issues as they arise and identify performance issues.
- Assist in testing our system integrity and continuously make improvements to our infrastructure
- Monitor and respond to support requests while shadowing another engineer in delivery
- Deploy product updates as required when they arise
- Automate our operational processes as needed, with accuracy and in compliance with our security requirements
Qualifications
- In-process of a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Science, or MISÂ
- Current with industry trend and best practices, ability to identify the ones we should implement
- Strong time and project management skills, with the capability to prioritize and multitask as needed
- Knowledge or current study of scripting languages such as JavaScript, Ruby, Python, and Bash
- Experience with open-source technologies and cloud services
