As the SRE Manager, you will lead the Site Reliability Engineering team which designs, implements and operates our cloud infrastructure and internal services. You will manage a team of experienced SREs to modernize, implement, optimize, and support our infrastructure and tooling which provides the foundational layer for our SaaS application. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in developing and managing cloud environments at scale in a highly available and redundant fashion. We are seeking a humble servant leader who is focused on measurable results-driven accountability.
What you'll do here:

• As SRE Manager you will provide technical leadership and be able to influence decisions about the software engineering process as well as provide leadership in operational processes.
• Train, mentor, and help develop the skills/capabilities of Site Reliability Engineers.
• You will be responsible for the quality of the customer experience in production and in the ideation, design, and development of next generation systems.
• Partner with Engineering teams to measure, deliver, and improve both the engineering and customer experience.
• Improve observability via implementation of improved monitoring, metrics, logging, and system analytics.
• Building software and systems to manage services and applications through automation
• Deployment, support, and monitoring of existing and new services, platforms, and application stacks.
• Partnering with Engineering teams to help build and define objectives for performance and indicators to help measure success (SLOs & SLIs).
• Explore and evaluate new technologies and solutions to push our capabilities forward and solve tomorrow's problems.

What you'll need to thrive:

• Track record of building and running high-performance teams.
• Experience scaling distributed systems and managing production operations.
• Knowledge of system configuration systems and infrastructure as code.
• Experience with DevOps tools and passionate about DevOps processes and procedures
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain highly available infrastructure within AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Extensive experience managing a globally distributed team in a 24/7 environment.
• Expertise in analyzing complex applications, databases, networks, and operating systems.
• A consistent track record of system/process automation.
• Expert with CI/CD systems, blue/green deployments, and git branching strategies.
• Lifelong learner who furthers diversity of thought in their approach to management.
• A proven ability to solve problems whether they be on-the-fly or by creating long-term strategies.
