Job Description
We are looking for you, if you have:
-
Extensive knowledge of production systems, including maintenance, development and monitoring,
-
Interest in the Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) methodology, IT security and compliance,
-
Experience with Incident Management, Problem Management and Change Management processes and tools,
-
Ability to share and support Asset Owners and Engineers with SRE concepts and frameworks,
-
Effective communication, both written and verbal, to convey complex technical concepts in a clear and understandable manner.
English level: B2/C1
You'll get extra points for:
-
Experience in working with IT service management systems and DevOps tools (like ServiceNow, Azure DevOps etc.),
-
Knowledgeable about technology on different levels in a technology stack,
-
Skilled in configuration management and automation tools (Ansible, Azure Pipeline) and scripting languages (Powershell, Bash, Python),
-
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills,
-
Familiarity with observability, logging and monitoring tools such as ELK stack, Kibana, Prometheus and Grafana,
-
Teamwork orientation and high accuracy in performing duties.
Your responsibilities:
-
Providing directions, framework and support in SRE methodology,
-
Identification areas for improvements and providing technical hands-on assistance for Asset Owners in SRE framework,
-
Defining and reporting SRE metrics, ensuring if company's production systems are highly reliable, available, efficient, secure, and scalable,
-
Sharing the knowledge and providing awareness campaigns related to SRE best practises,
-
Fostering a culture of implementing optimal observability and monitoring,
-
Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams within CISO organisation to support and prevent outages in infrastructure-related matters.
Information about squad:
As a member of our global CISO CoE, the Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) Specialist will play a crucial role in ensuring the operational excellence of our production CISO services. We are creating a team that will ensure the reliability of our services by providing directions, framework and supporting in SRE methodology. You will take part also in defining and reporting metrics, providing technical hands-on assistance for Asset Owners, conducting awareness trainings and sharing the SRE knowledge within the company.
The role naming convention in the global ING job architecture will be “Engineer III”.
