What are we looking for?
Under the general direction of the Senior Accounting Manager, the Staff Accountant will perform accounting work involving financial accounting and reporting in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). Additionally, the successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring the procurement function in Oracle Cloud.
What will you do?
- Review and account for Accruals / COGS / Prepaids
- Prepare and post journal entries required to reflect the financial transactions of the Company
- Prepare and file necessary supporting documentation for journal entries
- Prepare account reconciliations for assigned accounts, including required documentation and support to comply with internal controls and SOX
- Review, audit, and code AP bills
- Perform the procurement function of monitoring all requisitions prepared by the business in Oracle cloud and convert those in PO
- Assist AP with any questions and help resolve matching and other differences with vendors

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business Administration, or equivalent
- 3-5 years relevant experience
- Experience with medium to large ERP system
- Positive attitude and desire to grow within a dynamic and ambitious organization
- Intermediate knowledge of GAAP and accounting principles
- Understanding of Procurement to pay cycle
- Understanding of SOX control requirements
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities
- Comfortable working in environments with high degree of change
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
- ERP user skills (Oracle cloud / D365 preferred)
