Fluidra’s looking for aĀ Staff Accountant to join our team at our West Coast office in Carlsbad, CA.

Ā 

WHAT YOU WILL CONTRIBUTEĀ 

This position will be primarily responsible for activities relating to Cash, Prepaids, Corporate Credit

Card/PCardĀ Administrator, Expense Report audits, and P-card/Expense Accruals.Ā Ā Accountant will also be responsible for maintaining bank reconciliations, prepaid reconciliations, accrued liability reconciliations, and providing support for internal/external audit inquiries. Additionally, you will:Ā 

  • Prepare journal entries and other accounting transactions, maintain overall accuracy and integrity of the general ledger, and ensure that financial statements are IFRS compliant.
  • Play an active role in month-end close process and perform account reconciliations.
  • Expense Report Auditing in Oracle to ensure compliance with Company Policy.
  • Escheatment maintenance and reporting.
  • Coordinate requests between external/internal audit teams and related business units for successful. completion of multiple annual audits.
  • Corporate Credit Card /PCardĀ Administrator and support over 300 credit card holders.
  • Support management through ad hoc data collecting, reporting,Ā analysisĀ and special projects.

WHAT WE SEEK

  • 2+ years of relevant experience
  • Ability to handle high processing volume
  • Possess great customer service skills.Ā Ā 
  • Ability to handle a heavy workload, while maintaining positive attitude
  • Ability to maintain composure in times of stress
  • Proactive approach to responsibilities
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.Ā 
  • Knowledge of Oracle ERP is a plus.
  • Knowledge of cash reconciliations and general ledger accounting is a plus.
  • Mindset to initiate process improvements.
  • Must have the ability to think and work independently and possess excellent time management skills in order to meet goals and deadlines under sometimes pressured conditions

  • Candidates must possess an accounting, business, or finance degree

ExpectedĀ salaryĀ range is $70,000 - $85,000.Ā FluidraĀ offers a comprehensive total rewards / benefits program that includes baseĀ salary, annual bonus based on performance of individual and company objectives, competitive 401K matching,Ā paidĀ vacation and sick time, full range of health benefits, educational assistance, etc. The actualĀ salaryĀ offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including skills, qualifications,Ā experienceĀ and location.
