Staff Accountant

The Staff Accountant will support the monthly close and reporting cycle within the Financial Accounting Department of the Montefiore Health System. Responsibilities include various journal entry uploads from multiple departments, journal entry document support preparation, cash transactions research, account reconciliations (including bank reconciliation and balance sheet), account analysis, and other administrative assistance.

Education/Skills:

Bachelor's Degree. Five year's experience

Advanced knowledge and use of Microsoft Excel, Access and Word required.

Knowledge and experience with SAP or other major accounting systems strongly desired.
