Your Role and Responsibilities
We are seeking a General Ledger Accountant with expertise in Lease Accounting to lead our lease accounting function. In this role you will be responsible for overseeing lease accounting processes performing complex lease transactions and ensuring compliance with lease accounting standards. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in lease accounting strong leadership skills and the ability to drive process improvements.
Responsibilities:
Lead lease accounting projects and initiatives such as lease abstraction and classification.
Perform complex lease transactions and entries accurately.
Conduct lease impairment testing and portfolio analysis.
Ensure compliance with lease accounting standards and regulations.
Mentor junior staff and provide guidance on lease accounting matters.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams on lease-related strategic initiatives.
Liaise with auditors and ensure compliance with audit requirements.
