Staff Accountant Allegro Marlborough - Allegro MicroSystems, Inc. Nasdaq "ALGM", a world leader in magnetic sensor and power integrated circuits for e-mobility, autonomy, and green energy, is looking to hire a Staff Accountant to join our accounting team. We offer a flexible work environment, and this position would be based in our MetroWest Massachusetts office with the ability to work from home at times. The Staff Accountant will be responsible for general accounting activities. The successful candidate will be able to collect the pertinent information for the creation of journal entries, account reconciliations and other related intercompany matters.

The role reports to the Senior Accountant, Allegro Microsystems, based in Marlborough, MA.

Responsibilities:

• Performs general accounting and other related duties for the organization.
• Prepare journal entries and enter in the general ledger.
• Assist with month end close preparation.
• Preparation of detailed reconciliations of all assigned balance sheet accounts.
• Assist in monthly, quarterly and annual reporting requirements.
• Assist with the maintenance of Chart of Accounts and Entity structures.
• Assist with general accounting projects as needed.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP.

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance required. Advanced degrees or progress towards such as an MBA or MS in Accounting are desired.
• CPA or progress towards desired
• 1+ year experience in public accounting or accounting in a publicly held company.
• Experience with Oracle or similar ERP preferred.
• Experience with foreign currency transactions is a plus.
• Proficient in Word and Excel.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills.
• Willingness to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the organization.
