Job Summary

FLASH is seeking to bring on an eager, ready-to-learn Staff Accountant to support the Controller

on the financial close and carry out successful reconciliations for our key GL accounts.

This is a REMOTE role in the Dominican Republic - it must be located in DR

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent or in the process of obtaining a degree in accounting.
• BA/BS degree and at least 2 years relevant experience OR equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.

Experience

• BA/BS degree and at least 2 years’ relevant experience OR equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
• General understanding of GAAP
• Excellent Microsoft Excel skills including pivot tables and v-lookup formulas
• Excellent verbal and written English skills
• Knowledgeable in NetSuite or similar ERP is a plus

Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities...

• Responsible for preparing various journal entries for any assigned ledger accounts for monthly close
• Performing monthly account analysis and reconciliation
• Posting monthly, quarterly, and yearly (if any) accruals
• Oversee financial transactions and process invoices in a timely manner
• Assist in month-end activities
• Assist in financial audits
• Assess the current processes for certain tasks and implement process improvements and automation (if possible)
• Ad hoc projects
