About This Role:

Forrester Decisions is looking for someone to join our tight-knit, fast-paced, and growing accounting team to help speed up operations, maintain timely financial reporting, and support our partners across the Forrester ecosystem in our mission as a customer-obsessed organization as we enter a new phase of growth. The Staff Accountant supports crucial workflows and processes in finance and is a key contributor to the financial close. The successful candidate's contribution will be critical to timely and accurate month-/quarter-end close and reporting, as well as day-to-day accounting operations.

Job Description:

  • Participate in the month- and quarter-end close processes. Book journal entries; reconcile balance sheet accounts, including cash and employee benefits; and prepare expense analysis.
  • Ensure timely and accurate accrual calculations at each month end.
  • Be the lead contact for the monthly close of Forrester's foreign entities in Canada and Israel.
  • Perform P&L and management discussion and analysis (MD&A) fluxes and analysis.
  • Prepare the company's weekly expense run.
  • Aid in managing fixed assets and prepaid expenses.
  • Take part in AP processes, including monthly review of invoices in Concur.
  • Assist in supporting the external audit process.
  • Help with additional projects, as needed.

Job Requirements:

  • A bachelor's degree in accounting.
  • One to three years of proven hands-on accounting experience.
  • Experience with PeopleSoft Financials and Concur is a plus.
  • The ability to work cross-functionally with other departments in the company.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and familiarity with accounting software.
  • An energetic, self-motivated, and responsible individual.
