Maesa is currently seeking an individual to join our Finance team.  The Staff Accountant will report to the Assistant Controller and work closely with other finance members.

Pay Range: $68,000/yr - $83,000/yr. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. 

Core Responsibilities:

• Participate in month end close and prepare journal entries
• Assist with month end balance sheet reconciliations
• Assist with month end / transactional internal controls
• Monitor banking transactions and reconcile on a daily basis with ERP system
• Assist with reconciliation of AMEX / FEDEX statements
• Perform special projects as directed
• Meet deadlines and handle multiple objectives in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting / finance
• 1-3 years of relevant accounting experience
• Ability to work with cross functional teams in finance and operations
• Strong PC skills including Microsoft excel
• Experience with ERP accounting system a plus
