Your Role and Responsibilities
We are seeking a detail-oriented General Ledger Accountant to join our finance team with a focus on reconciliations. In this role you will be responsible for assisting in the reconciliation of general ledger accounts identifying discrepancies and helping to resolve issues. The ideal candidate will have a basic understanding of accounting principles and a strong desire to learn and grow in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities:
Assist in the reconciliation of general ledger accounts on a regular basis.
Identify and investigate discrepancies between financial records and source documents.
Prepare supporting schedules and documentation for reconciliations.
Assist in resolving reconciliation issues in a timely and accurate manner.
Collaborate with other finance and accounting team members to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance accounting knowledge and skills.
