Staff Accountant

Echo360 is seeking a dynamic and ambitious Staff Accountant with expertise in SaaS accounting. The ideal candidate is passionate about outperforming, working hard, and driving growth. As a Staff Accountant with a growth-oriented mindset and expertise in SaaS accounting, you will be a key player in ensuring the financial integrity of our organization and supporting our mission-driven growth. This role demands a proactive and results-driven attitude, combining technical expertise with the ability to lead and optimize finance processes. This position is FULLY REMOTE; we will consider candidates who are located in many, but not all, states within the United States. Candidates must be eligible to work in the United States for any employer.

Requirements

The major responsibilities of this role include:

• Contribute to month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Prepare comprehensive financial reports and analysis, providing valuable insights to management and stakeholders.
• Conduct financial analyses to evaluate the performance of our SaaS products, identify growth opportunities, and support strategic decision-making.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather financial data and provide insights to drive company growth.
• Identify opportunities to improve finance operations, implementing best practices to support our growth trajectory.
• Embrace a "can-do" attitude and lead by example, demonstrating a strong work ethic and dedication to excellence.

The ideal candidate for this role will have:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field strongly preferred
• 2+ years’ experience as an Accountant, with expertise in SaaS accounting principles and practices.
• Passion for accounting and finance; seeking to advance and pursue a career in this function.
• Proficiency in using accounting software and ERP systems (preferably NetSuite) tailored to SaaS businesses.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a proactive problem-solving approach.
• Effective communication and collaboration abilities, with the capability to lead and motivate others.
• High level of integrity and a commitment to upholding confidentiality in handling financial information.
• A growth-oriented mindset, driven to outperform and contribute to the company's success.
• Proactive and results-driven attitude, with a passion for continuous improvement and exceeding goals.
• Preference for candidates in the Eastern or Central US time zones. Other US-based candidates will be considered.
