Role Summary

The ideal candidate must have excellent communication, data and analytical skills, an attention to detail, and the ability to perform professional accounting responsibilities involved in fiscal management, reporting and analysis. This position reports to the Senior Staff Accountant.

• Responsible for preparing various monthly standard journal entries and accruals
• Perform trend analysis to support financial close process
• Prepare monthly lease commitment schedules
• Prepare monthly General Ledger account reconciliations
• Complete monthly bank reconciliations
• Ensure integrity of the financial records in key categories
• Prepare and maintain various internal and external reports and schedules as assigned
• Support the quarterly and annual internal and external audit processes
• Other ad-hoc assignments to support the team and stakeholders

Education and Experience

• Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance
• Preferred 2+ years of experience in similar accounting role
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Proficiency with the Google platforms
• Experience with financial packages (preferably Workday Financial Management)
• Deadline driven with the ability to effectively multi-task, prioritize and be detail oriented
• Excellent communication and organization skills
• Comfortable with change
• Ability to work additional hours for key projects and deadlines
• Enthusiastic and positive attitude with the ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
