What you’ll do:

• The Staff Accountant reports to the Assistant Controller. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, general ledger accountability, maintenance of standard operating procedures, financial reporting, as well as other special projects as assigned.
• Assist in developing internal controls and process documents
• Prepare monthly journal entries as required
• Responsible for maintaining all aspects of fixed assets, including addition, deletions, reconciling to the general ledger and roll-forwards
• Prepare various monthly account reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance
• Assist in account reconciliation review process as assigned
• Answers accounting and financial questions by researching and interpreting data
• Research and correct account discrepancies
• Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively with different levels of employees
• Support annual financial and tax audits and/or any other audit as incurred

What we’re looking for:

• Must have an Accounting degree and at least 3 years of general ledger accounting or audit experience
• Excellent written communications skills
• Experience with documentation of process flows is a plus
• Advanced knowledge of Excel
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills
• Highly detail-oriented and organized
• Ability to meet communicated schedules and deadlines
• Adherence to policies, procedures and instructions of Management
• Ability to maintain good working relationships with internal and external customers
• Ability to function well in a team-oriented environment
• Familiarity with NetSuite, Zuora, Salesforce, and/or Concur a plus
