Staff Accountant

What You’ll Be Doing: 

We’re seeking a Staff Accountant to help support the finance vertical at Grow Therapy. You will own accounting workstreams such as our procurement and reimbursement processes and assist with driving process improvements. You’ll be part of a remote-friendly team working closely with our Accounting Manager and Strategic Finance team. Your responsibilities will include:

• Accounts payable and vendor management
• Review and process employee expense reimbursements and spend
• Enhance partnerships between Accounting and various business groups including collaborating on essential projects to support growth
• Help fulfill reporting requests from management and stakeholders 
• Participate in financial audits and provide necessary documentation and support
• Assist with ad-hoc accounting projects and resolve issues arising from daily accounting operations for assigned areas
• Assist with maintaining financial reports, records, and general ledger accounts
• Makes recommendations to drive process improvement initiatives and execute by building scalable accounting processes to support growth
• Ensure compliance with GAAP requirements

Salary range: 80,000-100,000

You’ll Be a Good Fit If: 

• 2-5 years of accounting experience at a top-tier accounting firm and/or startup
• Team-oriented and willing to jump into ad hoc special projects in fast-paced environments
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required
• Working knowledge of GAAP
• Advanced Excel Skills required
• Good problem-solving and time-management skills
• Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities effectively
• Ability to be a team player, and ability to work well in both In-Person & Remote work environments including aligning EST hours
• CPA track strongly preferred
