Summary of Position

In this role, you will be responsible for several aspects of the monthly close process, including fixed assets and supporting on clinical accruals. Support in daily accounting operations related to accounts payable. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

·        Assist with the day-to-day accounting operations, including supporting in the accounts payable process

·        Support clinical accrual monthly general ledger procedures including journal entries, schedules, analyses and documentation

·        Perform fixed assets monthly close procedures

·        Maintain and update fixed assets schedule throughout the month

·        Provide support for financial audits in assigned areas

·        Assist with SOX compliance efforts in assigned areas

·        Complete various ad-hoc or special projects, as needed

Qualifications:

·        B.S. degree in accounting or related field

·        2-4 years of accounting experience in public accounting or private industry

·        Solid knowledge of GAAP

·        Proficiency with Microsoft Excel required

·        Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

·        Excellent oral and written communication skills

·        Strong organizational skills with ability to prioritize and multitask

·        Detail-oriented, reliable and self-motivated

·        Embodies Kronos values; exhibits high degree of integrity and professionalism when interacting with outside investigators and vendors

·        Entrepreneurial and enjoys working in a fast-paced, creative and resourceful small company environment

The expected annual salary range for this full-time position is $85,000 - $100,000, plus eligibility for bonus, benefits, and equity incentives. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, business needs, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
