What You’ll Do:Â
Â
We are building our Accounting and Finance team and seeking a Staff Accountant who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and enjoys handling a variety of tasks, with a strong emphasis on accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), and balance sheet duties. Day to day in this role would include managing the general ledger, processing AP and AR transactions, performing variance analysis, and conducting detailed balance sheet reconciliations. Responsibilities in this role include:Â
- Manage and maintain the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
- Process vendor invoices and payments, ensuring timely and accurate payment of bills (AP).
- Prepare and post journal entries, including accruals and prepayments.
- Process vendor invoices and payments, ensuring timely and accurate payment of bills.
- Generate customer invoices and follow up on outstanding receivables (AR).
- Reconcile AP and AR sub-ledgers to the general ledger and resolve any discrepancies.
- Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations, including bank reconciliations.
- Conduct monthly variance analysis to identify and explain discrepancies between actuals and budget/forecast.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Support internal and external audit processes by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support overall business objectives.
What You’ll Need:
- Minimum of 2+ years of experience in a similar role at a SaaS company
- Minimum of 2+ years of experience working with Maxio (SaaS Optics) and QuickBooks
- Ability to break down, analyze and solve complex problems
- Organization and time management skills a MUST
- Must be self directed and thrive in a fast paced environmentÂ
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

The estimated base salary range for this role is $45,000-60,000/year. The estimated salary range reflects an anticipated range for this position. The actual base salary offered may depend on a variety of factors, including the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, business needs, geographic market, and often a combination of all of these factors. The actual base salary offered will be in accordance with state or local minimum wage requirements for the job location.
