Staff Accountant

Our client, a non-profit located in the Arlington, VA area, is seeking a staff accountant for a consulting engagement to assist with additional workflow due to the annual audit and some changes in the accounting process. The ideal candidate will have three or more years' of accounting experience, preferably in a non-profit setting, advanced Excel skills, and will be available to start immediately.

Primary Responsibilities:

• GL maintenance and account reconcilation
• Assist with audit activities
• Full cycle responsibility of both AP and AR

• 1+ years' experience in a GL accounting role (preferably in a non-profit)
• BS in Accounting or other business related field
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Available to start immediately
