Responsibilities

• Prepare CER's for P.O. processing
• Process capital purchase orders in Oracle Fusion
• Acquire appropriate information for vendor set up in Oracle Fusion
• Follow up on goods receipt
• Facilitate prepayment checks when required by vendor
• Manage payment process/draw for projects in Oracle Fusion
• Assist in reconciling price discrepancies with vendors and accounts payable
• Act as a resource to the facilities in obtaining information or following up on outstanding orders
• Monitor compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and company procedures
• Performs other tasks as assigned

Qualifications

Education/Learning Experience:

• Required: Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• Desired: Advanced degree in Accounting

Work Experience:

• Desired: Up to one year of accounting experience

Skills/Knowledge:

• Required: Understanding of GAAP and General Accounting; excellent computer skills including Excel, Word, Access, and related accounting software; financial reporting knowledge; internal and external audit requirements knowledge
• Desired: Understanding of SAP

Licenses/Certifications:

• Desired: CPA or CPA eligible
