Job Description
Jockey seeks a Staff Accountantto join our Finance team!This is a great opportunity for someone that has had previous exposure to accounting, finance or cost accounting either through classroom and/or internship/work experience. The position is based in Kenosha, WI near the Greater Milwaukee Area and Chicago.
This role's focus is to perform daily and monthly tasks to maintain the inventory accounting records. Maintain databases and reconciliations on general ledger accounts including inventory, purchase price variance, freight, and duty expenses. Analyze and report on those accounting records and databases monthly.
This role is located at our global headquarters in Kenosha, WI (near Milwaukee, WI and Chicago, IL) and we are excited to meet you in person! We are not able to sponsoremployment visas for this role at this time.

Scope and Responsibilities:
- This position will work with database software to maintain inventory accounting information and reports.
- Support month end closing including general accounting and reporting for corporate inventory accounting (i.e., journal entries, account reconciliations, and monthly accruals)
- This position has an essential role in the budget process of setting inventory standard costs and completing the mid-year and year-end cost roll projects.
- This position has an essential role in year-end audit and preliminary audit schedule preparation.
- Inventory accounting/finance projects will be assigned peroidically as needed
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- 1-2 years accounting/finance experience (internship experience will be considered)
- Solid MS Office computer skills are required, strong Excel skills are required. Use of database software is helpful. • Must be able to meet project deadlines.
- Must be able to work independently as well as collaboratively.
