Staff Accountant

Lucas Group has partnered with our client on the Southwest side of Houston in their search for a Staff Accountant. This is a full-time, contract to hire position that's slated to last 6 months before converting into a permanent position. This is a in-office position. Candidates must live in the Houston area for consideration.

Scope of Responsibilities :

• Fixed asset accounting
• Month-end close
• Depreciation schedules, general ledger, reporting, ad-hoc reports

Skills Needed :

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field
• Minimum 3+ years of experience at the staff accountant level and working with a ERP system required.
• Must be able to work in-office
