We’re looking for a Staff Accountant to join our Accounting & Finance Team! It’s a great opportunity for an analytical-minded person who loves problem-solving and wants to gain exposure to several business types in various industries. Your growth will be accelerated at Cie.

What you’ll do:

• Drive month-end close processes for start-ups and assist in corporate processes. 
• Execute bookkeeping on transactions across Cie and our portfolio start-ups.
• Own the general ledger.
• Work with stakeholders to execute on transactions (A/R, A/P, purchasing etc.).
• Reporting (putting together management reports, ad hoc cost analysis, cash flow forecast, commissions etc.).
• Assist senior finance team with forecasting and budgeting.
• Manage payroll & admin tasks.
• Assist with annual audits and taxes.
  

What we’re looking for:

• 3-5yrs experience in accounting
• Comfortable with reporting, analytical mindset
• Full cycle bookkeeping
• High proficiency in Excel
• Ability to learn tech quickly
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
• Data organization skills
• Excellent communication skills for internal and external demand
• Effective decision-making skills
• Problem-solver
• Highly organized with the ability to manage and prioritize tasks
