THE ROLE:

The Staff Accountant will be highly motivated self-starter with the ability to multi-task and complete assignments within tight time constraints and deadlines.

As a Staff Accountant, you will:

• Works closely with Assistant Controller in maintaining financial records and ensuring that financial transactions are properly recorded.
• Perform multiple bank reconciliations.
• Perform and review monthly account reconciliations in various areas including balance sheet analysis, fixed assets and intercompany allocations.
• Assist in documentation and monitoring of internal controls by working with other team members in order to standardize and document best practices and procedures.
• Assist in monthly closing process
• Vendor creation and annual 1099 filings.
• Assisting with the annual audit.
• Special projects and ad-hoc requests as assigned.

Let's talk if you have the following:

• Bachelors in Accounting required
• CPA or CPA in progress preferred
• 2+ years in a full cycle accounting role, including closing procedures
• Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills
• Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a strong work ethic
• Strong systems skills: ERP system, Advanced Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps at minimum required)
