Apto Solutions is hiring for a temp to hire Staff Accountant.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation of financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
• Process accounts payable
• Manage and own the GL Accounting as well as the AR/AP 
• Issue bills, track and document updates and payments 
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using accounting software 
• Manage direct expense accounting 
• Prepare, check, and process invoices
• Provide support for budgeting and forecasting processes

Qualifications (Skills/Qualifications) : 

• Must have an Accounting Degree 
• Experience as a Staff Accountant with high AP/AR involvement
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
• Proficiency in using accounting software such as QuickBooks is a plus
• Familiarity with public accounting procedures and regulations
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong analytical skills to identify discrepancies or errors in financial data
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
