Staff Accountant

Lucid is seeking a dynamic and high-performing Staff Accountant to join the Accounting team. Our team plays a critical role in ensuring optimal financial management and efficient operations across Lucid. We also partner, cross-functionally, to appropriately allocate resources, inform key business decisions, and facilitate the execution of operational plans. 

Responsibilities:

• Generate weekly bill payments and international payroll funding
• Become the subject matter expert on all-things-cash outflows
• Create monthly and quarterly (short-term) cash forecast
• Produce monthly and quarterly cash report
• Collaborate closely with finance to continuously improve short-term cash forecasting and reporting for cash management and cash needs
• Run customer onboarding program
• Prepare journal entries and reconciliations
• Perform month-end close tasks
• Assist in the preparation for quarterly reviews and annual audit

Qualifications:

• 1-2 years experience as a Staff Accountant or similar position
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Self-motivated with ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities
• Collaborate well with other members of the Accounting team and other departments
• Possess strong problem solving skills
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and a self-starter with passion for taking ownership
• Ability to work independently, with little direction
• Motivation for excellence and exceeding expectations
• Passionate about teamwork with an optimistic outlook
• Thrive in a fast-paced, growth environment
• Ability to drive change

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Accounting
• CPA license
• Public accounting experience
• NetSuite experience
