Staff Accountant

To do that, we need a seasoned Accountant to maintain financial records and create invoices and payments to clients, vendors, and contractors. We are also looking for someone who knows the ins and outs of Quickbooks and can analyze costs while forecasting future expenses. Our ideal candidate is local to Philadelphia, eager to get started and excited to grow their career with AIIR Consulting.

Requirements

While no two days are alike, you can expect to:

• Maintains financial records and ensures that financial transactions are properly recorded
• Creates invoices and payments to clients, vendors, and contractors
• Maintains internal systems for financial operations
• Engages in communication with clients and vendors
• Ensures accuracy of entries to ledger accounts and reconciles subsidiary ledgers to the general ledger
• Prepares balance sheets, profit, and loss statements and other financial reports
• Analyzes current costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations incurred to predict future revenues and expenses

• Balance Sheet Analysis
• Bank Reconciliation
• Calculate Depreciation
• Financial Accounting
• General Ledger Accounting
• Revenue Recognition
• Month-end Close
• Quarter-end Close
• Year-end Close

Knowledge - What You May Need To Know

• GAAP Standards
• Quickbooks Online accounting software, Hubspot is also preferred
• Strong working knowledge of G-Suite for business and Microsoft productivity tools

Other Qualifications or Skills

• Familiarity working in a Mac environment
• Bachelor's degree
