Carrier/Nlyte is actively recruiting for a Senior Accountant to join the team in Charlotte, NC.

We are seeking an innovative, data driven, results-oriented leader to help support forecasting and planning for our Finance organization.
The selected candidate must be comfortable communicating to all levels of the organization and able to develop positive relationships in order to gather information and influence decision making. This is a high visibility position with exposure to senior management by participating in business reviews.
Job Responsibilities:
- Manages and analyzes activities in accordance with accounting principles and standards to control financial resources and compliance with regulations, laws, and reporting activities.
- Prepares, examines, and conforms to procedures for general ledger preparation and project and / or government accounting activities.
- Performs monthly and quarterly close and consolidation processes to ensure timely completion and accuracy.
- Develops and documents accounting policies, procedures, control processes, and financials.
- Analyzes business operations, trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations in order to accurately represent financial standing.
- Supports internal and external audits for process compliance and timely completion.
- Leads small scale projects.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business operations
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting or Business
- 3 years of experience in a finance role
Preferred Qualifications:
- MS Office proficiency
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Acute attention to detail
- Self-motivated with ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Hyperion Financial Management system, Netsuite, Blackline or other ERP system
