Staff Accountant

B+ to C1 proficiency in English and native fluency in Spanish both written and spoken.
Good Accounting skills: Understanding of UUSS GAPP and/or IFRS is preferred
Reconciliation Skills: Proficiency in reconciling various types of accounts such as bank accounts accounts receivable accounts payable and intercompany accounts.
Technical skills: Familiarity with accounting software and ERP systems such as SAP Oracle QuickBooks or others commonly used in the industry. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is also essential for data analysis and reconciliation tasks.
Attention to Detail: A meticulous approach to reviewing financial data ensuring precision in record-keeping.
Communication skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential for interacting with colleagues and clients.
Time Management: Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively to meet tight deadlines especially during month-end and year-end closing processes.
Problem-Solving Abilities: Capacity to troubleshoot reconciliation discrepancies and effectively resolve issues. This may involve collaborating with other departments or stakeholders to gather necessary information and implement corrective actions.
Teamwork: Collaboration with other members of the finance team such as controllers financial analysts and auditors is essential to ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial records.
