We’re seeking an innovative, analytical, detail oriented, and organized Staff Accountant to help evolve and propel our team during a time of exciting growth. The Staff Accountant will report directly to the Controller and work closely with members of the finance team.

How you'll contribute to #oneteam
  • Support the daily accounting operations and monthly closing process
  • Be involved in A/P and A/R operations
  • Perform reconciliations on assigned accounts and schedules to ensure the accuracy of data maintained in the general ledger; identify reconciliation issues and elevates solutions or concerns to the Senior Accountant and Controller
  • Apply accounting concepts and policies in the preparation financial transactions (journal entries) across accounts
  • Assist in the review of new contracts and transactions
  • Ensure that financial information complies with relevant professional, industry, and regulatory standards
  • Perform ad hoc projects and analysis as assigned
Who you are 
  • Hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting; advanced degrees will be considered a plus
  • Have two or more years of experience in accounting including journal entries, general ledger reconciliation and analysis
  • Able to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations
  • Able to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
  • Possess strong analytical, verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to interact effectively with managers and peers to establish trust and credibility, and to gain cooperation from others
  • Possess strong skills in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • Able to work under significant deadline pressures
  • Able to complete multiple projects simultaneously
Preferred Qualifications
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) credential is a plus, or eligibility to take the CPA exam
  • Hospitality and Tech industry knowledge
  • Experience with Netsuite (or similar) systems 
  • Sales & Use Tax experience
