Staff Accountant

The Namely Staff Accountant role is an entry level accounting position for a degreed accountant to grow in their career while working to support finance functions.  The individual will be responsible for payment processing, cash management, and general accounting. 

• Analyze and reconcile monthly bank statements for all company bank accounts
• Provide support in MasterTax for journal entries and client funds reconciliation
• Manage Cash Applications for all incoming corporate cash
• Monitor and review daily bank activities; research and flag fraudulent transactions in additional to reviewing positive pay and ACH exceptions, if applicable
• Prepare internal Treasury reporting as required on a daily, weekly and monthly basis
• Prepare and manage Treasury rolling forecast and month end summaries
• Support month ending cash flux analysis and issue KPI report
• Provide Treasury support to departments across the organization
• Establish a high level of comprehension in the company chart of accounts and department 
• Support for financial audit and a strong internal control environment
• Assist with other ad hoc projects as needed

• Accounting or Finance degree preferred
• Advanced Excel Skills
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
• Ability to handle a large volume of email activity
• Strong attention to detail, must maintain sense of due dates on deliverables

• SaaS Experience
• Salesforce, NetSuite, MasterTax, Zuora, Bank Portals

This position has a salary range of $70,000 - $85,000 per annum.. Namely offers employees medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) plan with company match, equity, flexible spending accounts, $50,000 basic life and AD&D, free telehealthcare, paid vacation, holidays and sick leave, employee stock purchase plan, paid family leave, and many other available benefits. This information is provided per the Equal Pay for Equal Work Act.
