Staff Accountant

Our client located in the Lake Forest, Illinois, is seeking a Corporate Accountant for their northern Illinois headquarters.

• Under supervision, participate in the maintenance of the general ledger; code, record and update journal entries including expenditures, account transfers and budget transfers using manual and computerized spreadsheets
• Audit financial documents to ensure entries are accurate, appropriately allocated to accounts and comply with contract and funding guidelines
• Document errors and reconcile assigned accounts; prepare financial statements, balance sheets and financial reports of a moderately complex nature;

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Accounting is a MUST

4 - 8 years of accounting experience

Manufacturing industry experience highly preferred

McCormick and Dodge software experience preferred
